Sales Representative / Account Manager
The Sales Representative / Account Manager is responsible for managing all operations for contracted client locations within a territory. We have an immediate opening for a Sales Representative / Account Manager with a proven track record to work out of our Newington office to help grow our satisfied customer base.
You will be responsible for prospecting new corporate accounts, maintaining relationships with clients, creating proposals, and closing sales. Maintaining relationships with clients after the sale, including follow-up sales and other opportunities will become a key responsibility as well.
Qualified candidates should have a minimum 2-3 years of proven computer networking sales experience, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, strong presentation skills, excellent time management, and a technical understanding of computers and networking.
You must be willing to work long hours in the pursuit of developing business and building your sales along with increasing your personal income level. ECS is a fast-paced, yet relaxed and fun environment. You must excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment and be service and relationship-oriented. You must be able to build and maintain relationships by effectively networking and building rapport and trust with both potential and existing customers.
You Should Have:
- Strong team approach to business.
- Proven track record of relationship building with both internal and external customers.
- High level of integrity.
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated and hard-driving with strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, with a high degree of initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license, knowledge of area and reliable transportation are required.

Network Technician
Do you have 3+ years of experience in IT/Networking support? Do you enjoy working with different people and assignments from day-to-day? If so, we have a need for an individual for the on-site support, installation, and maintenance of PC-based network systems for our varied client base in the Greater Hartford area.
Experience and strong current skills with one or more of the following is required:
Windows NT/ 2000 / 2003:
Windows Server products including NT 4.0, 2000, and 2003. Small Business Server, Exchange, Proxy/ISA Server, SQL
Citrix:
Citrix Metaframe 1.8, Metaframe XP, and terminal services
MISC:
Cisco Router and Firewall programming, VPN, or other WAN skills
Compensation is based upon your experience and skills. Please do not apply if you do not have “hands-on” experience; this is not an entry-level position.
Sample assignments include setting up new network systems (servers, workstations, other network devices) for clients, upgrading or expanding existing network systems, and general client network and workstation support. Most of our client support is done at the client’s location. You will need your own reliable vehicle.
